Blues Arcadia deliver an uninhibited old-fashioned soul stomp revival. Combining the legendary soul of the Stax and Motown era with the burning heat and power of the Chicago and Memphis blues, the songwriting partnership between vocalist Alan Boyle and guitarist Chris Harvey has gone from strength to strength, receiving three category nominations and winning Best New Talent in the 2017 Australian Blues Music “Chain” Awards. Formed with collaborators and bandmates Jeremy Klysz (bass), Parmis Rose (keys) and Beck Flatt (drums), Blues Arcadia have delivered stand-out performances at festivals including Blues on Broadbeach, Caloundra Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster.
Hailing from the bitter cold of Devonport Tasmania. Delphins music is a mix of punk/blues/jazz or some say Cow Punk. His One man band style includes the use of a real kick and snare drum and high hats, plus multiple loops. Jason keeps it sounding dirty unexpected and improvised. Singer, Guitarist Richie Williams is fast making a name for himself on the Australian east coast. Originally from Sydney now based in Northern NSW, Richie’s captivating melodies and quirky heartfelt lyrics drives his original sound, blending funk based soul with acoustic grooves. Richie is due to release his highly anticipated album this summer that he has been co-writing and recording with producer Murray Burns (Mi-Sex, Party Boys) at Studio 301, Byron Bay. After 10 years in the Sydney music scene gigging with artists such as Thirsty Merc, D.I.G, Skunkhour, The Black Sorrows and Darryl Braithwaite, Richie spent 3 years on the country music circuit in Tamworth and inland Australia before moving to the north coast.
