Chris Aronsten is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from northern New South Wales. Playing guitar, fiddle and mandolin and with warm passionate vocals and original songs.
Chris has toured with Maddy Prior and supported Christy Moore, Lunasa, Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick.
He’s recently appeared at festivals and folk clubs in Australia and the UK including Woodford, Yackandandah, Turning Wave, Uranquinty, Maldon and Music at the Creek and the National Folk Festival in Canberra as well as Warwick Folk Festival and Broadstairs Folk Week in the UK in 2007.
He’s was invited back to the Warwick Folk Festival in the UK in 2009 and the Saltburn Folk Festival in North East England in 2010. His album “The Road to Ballyvaughn” received a glowing 4 star review from respected folk music writer Bruce Elder.
