TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR WEDDINGS
A tentative booking will be held for fourteen (14) days. We reserve the right to cancel any unsecured bookings after this time.
To confirm your wedding a deposit must be paid within fourteen (14) days along with the signed confirmation form. A one thousand dollar ($1000) deposit is required to secure your wedding date along with this terms & conditions page, signed by both parties.
In the unfortunate event that your wedding is cancelled the following will apply:
- Your deposit will not be refunded.
- Less than ninety (90) days, 50% of full payment will be retained due to costs already incurred Less than fourteen (14) days, 75% of full payment will be retained due to costs already incurred.
Food & Beverage Requirements
All menus and beverage choices must be confirmed & paid for at your pre-wedding meeting with the wedding coordinator approximately four (4) weeks prior to your booked wedding day. This allows adequate time for ordering and preparation. Any special dietary requirements must be specified at this time.
Final numbers are to be given thirty (30) days before your wedding and this constitutes the minimum numbers of guests that will be charged for. Lower numbers after this time will not be reflected in billing.
Final payment is required at the time of final numbers given, approximately 4 weeks prior to your wedding day. We accept cash, MasterCard, VISA & cheque [cheques made out to Harrigan’s Drift Inn]. Bar tabs may be paid upon departure; however a credit card is required to hold the account over the duration of the event.
Loss or Damage
Our staff will take every care when looking after your belongings; however Harrigans Drift Inn cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to items before, during or after your event. This includes all and any items left after the event. Under no circumstances are displays or fixtures to be glued or pinned or otherwise affixed to the walls. The organiser of the event will be held responsible and charged for any damages caused by their guests to Harrigans property during the course of the event.
Harrigans Drift Inn is a fully licensed premise and therefore BYO is not permitted.
Sundays & Public Holidays
Please note that we do not host weddings on Sundays or Public Holidays.
We are happy to offer advice regarding decorations and theming. We encourage the use of rose petals, bubbles and candles, but unfortunately we do not allow scatters, confetti, glitter or fairy dust during ceremony or reception.
Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices, they may be subject to alteration prior to your event. Should this be the case, you will be notified in a timely manner. Prices are valid until December 31st, 2015. If in the event of inclement weather deeming it necessary to change the reception location, this will incur an extra charge.
All prices quoted in this package are inclusive of GST.
Due to any unforeseen circumstances, the venue reserves the right to cancel any booking and refund any deposit at any time.
Venue Hire Time
All weddings must conclude no later than 11pm, due to our licensing requirements. Cocktail and lunchtime wedding are only available between 11.00am and 4.00pm.
All Prices quoted are for full paying adult guests. Children’s meals are available at for $25 per child [12 and under]
DJ included in the Bayview & Beergarden Packages is the Harrigan’s House DJ. Package includes 5 hours of playtime. Referrals & Song lists are available on request. Additional time is available at $70 per hour.
Our Chefs are more than happy to cut & serve your wedding cake. Please note that packages do not include cake bags, so these will need to be purchased by the Bride & Groom if required.
